Symptoms
On R12 in Production:
When attempting to cancel application of a person with person type=Employee.Applicant, the following error occurs:
Cause: The procedure do_cancel_appl has created an error at Step 8.
Action: Contact your system administrator quoting the procedure do_cancel_appl and Step 8."
Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Log on to XX HR User responsibility and do the following:
1. Main Menu>People>Enter and Maintain
2. Click 'Yes' 23-May-2018
3. Click 'OK'
4. Enter Employee Number and click 'Find'.
Note: Employee's Person Type at this time should be Employee.Applicant
5. Click 'Action' field.
6. Select Cancel Application
7. Click Save.
