You want to use 'Days' as the unit of measure for entering time in OTL.

For example:

 Monday = 1
 Tuesday = 1

You are using a Projects and Payroll timecard layout.  Expenditure type unit of measure is 'Days' and the payroll element input value unit of measure is 'Days'.  For the 'Self Service Unit of Measure to be Used on a Timecard' preference, 'Timecard Unit of Measure' is set to 'Days' and 'Unit of Measure Format' is blank.  After entering the days in OTL, get error:

   "The unit of measure for this expenditure type should be Hours"

What is the 'Unit of Measure Format' you need to use when 'Timecard Unit of Measure' parameter is set to Days?
