Purpose

How to enable UPK Browser-Based Player from the Help link within a JDEdwards EnterpriseOne application.

Scope

This document outlines the necessary steps for using UPK help menu integration with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications.

Context sensitive help is available with E1 8.9 and higher only.

UPK documentation such as what's new, technical specification's (aka MTR - minimum technical requirements) can be found on the Resources tab on Oracle.com Technology Network.

UPK guides can be located in your install directory (example: C:\Program Files (x86)\User Productivity Kit\UPK Developer 11_1\Documentation\EN\Reference) and on the documentation website on Oracle.com Technology Network.  The install and upgrade guides are also available during the install process via a push button after you start the UPK installer available on the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud (edelivery.oracle.com).  This is also where you will find the enablement packs (UPK product software updates).
