Goal

This document is intended to walk through post-install steps customers may want to use in reclaiming disk space taken up by the TEMP datafiles and tablespaces when using Oracle Applications.

Users of Oracle Applications may notice that large amounts of disk space are allocated to the TEMP tablespace and not recovered automatically. The TEMP tablespace is often used for sorting and other non-permanent storage functions.

Performing these steps will manually recover the disk space and assist with automating the task.
