Purpose


This paper introduces a functional overview of the effect of overlapping Retropay runs in Oracle Payroll.  In this document, 'Retropay' is a generic term and refers to either the Retropay (Enhanced) or Retropay by Element concurrent process.  The functionality is the same for either process.

Scope


The set up of Retropay will not covered. This paper seeks to clarify the functionality in order to outline how best to use the process and prevent any confusion from unexpected results.
