Purpose
This document is aimed at giving the reader a central location to assist in the implementation of HTTP load balancers for their use with 11i or R12 Oracle E-Business Suite releases.
This document does not cover DNS load balancers nor does it cover all load balancer hardware vendors, instead it covers the most common and well documented load balancers.
Important: Oracle does not certify Load Balancer products. Support for integration of 3rd party hardware solutions is part of the "best efforts" policy and is not officially covered by Oracle support. Other load balancer hardware not listed below may work with E-Business Suite's application server as long as they are compliant with the requirements listen in Oracle Application Server high availability documentation
