Internal Orders Line Status Not Updating to Awaiting Shipping

The Sales Order form (OEXOEORD) does not show the correct line status for Return Materials Authorization (RMA) lines. The line status remained as booked, and did not progress to 'Awaiting Return' as expected.
Expect that the lines would progress to Awaiting Return
The issue is seen with the following steps:
1) Import Internal Orders. Order line status is Booked.
2) Pickrelease internal Order, SO line status remain Booked
3) Ship internal order, SO line status remain Booked
4) Run trip Stop interface and on completion the SO line status cahnged Closed.
