Symptoms


Calculate Gains and Losses, or other programs such as FAGDA - Generate Accounts,  errror out on numerous errors as below:

At beginning of Calculate Gain/Loss program
Book: BOOKA
Request ID: ######
Account Generator failed to generate a new code combination:
Account Type: DEPRN_EXPENSE_ACCT
Book: BOOKA
Distribution ID: ######
Concatenated Segments: XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXX-XXX
Cause: The code combination for the generated segment does not exist and cannot be created because
it would contain invalid segment values or because it has been disabled.
Action: Please review the following message for a detailed explanation of why the account could
not be generated.

This combination is disabled. Please choose another.
Getting account CCID
Error fetching cursor C1

Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.

User-Defined Exception
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_UPD_PKG.fagpdp returned failure
FAGPDP: Fail to insert Depreciation adjustments for asset 123456

Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.


Error: function fa_gainloss_ret_pkg.fagret returned failure
FAGRET: Fail to retire asset 123456

Cause: You have a database problem.
Action: Contact your system administrator.

Error: function fa_gainloss_pro_pkg.fagpsa returned failure
Error: function FA_GAINLOSS_PKG.do_calc_gainloss_asset returned failure
Retirement ID: #### Asset Number: 123456 --> ** FAILED **
The Asset Id is 123456
