Symptoms
Attempting to delete Invoices created with rules and find orphan records in the XLA_EVENTS table.
Responsibility: Receivables Manager Navigation: Transactions > Transactions Enter in Header of Invoice with Rules and ensure that you use LOV from invoicing rule (Advance or Arrears) and save. Delete the invoice that was just created.
With the latest code, when a Transactions with Rules (Advanced or Arrears) is deleted only, the XLA_EVENTS table reference is not removed causing orphan records within the table.
Unable to close period when you have orphan records in xla_events table.
