System Options Form Issue: Allows Creation of Duplicate Record for an Operating Unit that has Already Been Defined (Doc ID 731992.1)

System Options form allows you to setup for an Operating Unit for which setup has already been completed. This causes duplicate records to be created in AR SYSTEM PARAMETERS, and causes ORA-1422 errors to be raised in other forms in the transactions and receipts workbenches.

Steps To Reproduce:
: Receivables Manager
Navigation: Setup > System > System Options

  1. Create a new record using the down arrow (instead of the search flashlight icon) the list of values for the Operating Unit includes values  for which details have already been setup.

  2. The form will allow you to pick a value for an Operating Unit that has already been defined, and once you save your changes, a duplicate row is created in AR_SYSTEM_PARAMETERS

    If you run the following for the Operating Unit you selected, it will return more than one ro

  3. If you then navigate to Setup > Transactions > Sources or Setup > Receipts > you will get the error:

    ORA-1422: Exact Fetch returns more than expected number of rows
