Goal

How to modify registered employee information with correct first/last name without having to re-register user within EBS when error APP-PER_289974 is encountered?

GL Super User responsibility --> Setup --> Employee -->

Enter a user and then attempt to modify a users last name to correct spelling -->

The following error message is received:

APP-PER_289974: There has been an error processing this person.
The error encountered is 'ORA-20001:HZ_CUST_NAME_UPDT_NOT_ALLOWED:N, POO, <9999>', which occurred in procedure per_hrtca_merge.update_tca_person at step 10.
