Symptoms

Manually assigned asset is subsequently changed to UNASSIGNED.

Project set up :

"Override Asset Assignment" is unchecked.
"PA: Licensed to use CRL Projects" is set to No
"Override Asset Assignment" is unchecked on the project type
"Asset cost allocation" is set to None
