E-Business Intelligence - Version: 11.5.8 to 12.0.4 RUP 5 or lower
In e-Business Suite 11i, or since upgrading e-Business Suite from 11.5.x to 12.0.4 RUP 5 or lower, users' sessions have been timing out and archive logs filling up when being written to from the GL_BIS_SEGVAL_INT temporary table. As a result, the instance has ground to a halt.
Database version 10.2.0.3.
Discoverer version through 10.1.2.54 & 11g
Events which can trigger this issue have included but are not restricted to:
E-Business Suite upgrade from 11.5.x to 12.x.
Database upgrade from 9i to 10g.
