Symptoms

On 12.0.5
When attempting to update a specific transaction type, for example add the Unearned Revenue Account
the following error occurs while saving the changes:

ERROR
APP-AR-201995:
This transaction type does not have a document sequence category code assignment.
Please define a document sequence category code for the transaction type before updating the record
   

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Setup > Transactions > Transaction Types
2. Query transaction type
3. Update some accounts and try to save

Changes

Might happen for upgraded transaction types defined on 11i or lower.
