This problem can occur on any platform.
Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
On 11.5.10 in Production:
When attempting to view a report published with Report manager,
the following error occurs:
ERROR
An error occurred while publishing this report. This may be due to problems within the template or
data. Please check your template is valid. If still a problem please contact your System
Administrator.
Other reports can be retrieved from report manager.
-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Selecting Financial Report Submission.
2. Select FSG - Balance Sheet A/c Inquiry
Select a Period
Select Sement Override and type in 01+XXXX+XXXXXX+
3. Select FSG Generic Template
4. When going to view the published report, the following error is displayed.
An error occurred while publishing this report. This may be due to problems within the template or
data. Please check your template is valid. If still a problem please contact your System
Administrator.
The FSG request and publish request are both ending without any error.
