Symptoms
The Delivery Manager component of BI Publisher allows documents to be delivered through various delivery channels, one of them being Secure FTP also known as SFTP.
The SFTP delivery works properly for single reports yet fails when attempting to deliver two or more jobs at the same time, irrespective of the kind of report nor the SFTP server itself.
The XDO log file or application log file will show the following error:
Based upon that information the Delivery Manager continues its negotiations about the available encryption methods etc. and once agreed, the first encrypted messages are received or sent. At the same time, a second parallel SFTP session is already transferring its data (BI Publisher report) using encrypted messages. Either one of both session will crash with the SshException: Corrupt Mac on input. indicating that the encrypted message cannot be decrypted using the available key. Eventually, both sessions will terminate unexpectedly.
