On 188.8.131.52 RUP 6,
after providing the Username through "Forgot Password link", you will receive an email from the Mailer asking to approve Password Reset Request, but never receive the new system generated password.
The following error occurs for this item type (UMXUPWD):
Expect the Mailer to mail the new system generated password.
WHAT IS WORKING
The following continues to work:
+All other Application function normally.
+Change Profile option Sign-on Password length from value 10 to 5 characters
- Forgot Password link
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Click on Forgot Password link and provide User-name.
2. Receive email from Mailer asking to approve Password Reset Request.
3. See that you do not receive the new password.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot log in using new password as its not generating.
