How to Generate Outbound ASN's/DSNO via XML Gateway ?

Goal
When trying to generate outbound ASN/DSNO XML document, the workflow process "SHOWSHIP" errors out with below message:
Failed Activity: Send Document
Activity Type: Function
Error Name : ECX_SENDDIRECT_ERROR_EMBD
Error Message : 6013: Error while processing XML document in SENDDIRECT mode : 'ORA-31011: XML parsing failed ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing LPX-00103: Warning: document structure does not match DTD Error at line 1'. For further details, see the log corresponding to FND-Logging AFLOG MODULE Name: 'ecx.plsql.trig.CLN.SHOWSHIPO.1076894.3.37054.log'.
