Cannot Enter Timecards Due to Error 'Unable To Determine A Time Period For Date Worked' (Doc ID 740497.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.


When attempting to enter a timecard for current pay period, the following error occurs.

The OTLR error is: Unable to determine a time period for date worked <date> Payroll:<payroll_id>

The issue can be  reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Log into responsibility: Self Service Time
- Click on create timecard
- Select the timecard period for entry
