Goal
Having setup the Third Party Control Account qualifier for AP Supplier Liability Account as “Yes”, while entering the journal lines, if the AP Supplier Liability Account in account code combinations is used, the following message is thrown as expected:
- “YOU CANNOT USE CONTROL ACCOUNTS. PLEASE CHOOSE A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT”.
However when importing the journal through Web ADI using the same AP Supplier Liability Account in journal lines, it is possible to import the journal and post it.
The same situation exists when the Third Party Control Account qualifier for AP Supplier Liability Account is set to “Supplier”.
