12: Oracle iStore Submit (Place) Order Error: "Required information is missing. Go to the Change Button in the Related Sections to Fill the Missing Information"

When attempting to place an order from iStore with profile option, "IBE: Default Payment Term" set
to blank (null) and profile option "ASO: OM Defaulting" set to Yes, the following error occurs.
The defaulting rules in Order Management are setup for the Payment Term for the Order Header level.
Required information is missing. Please go to the change button in the related sections to fill the missing information.
Steps to Reproduce
- Set profile option "IBE: Default Payment Term" set to blank
- Set profile option "ASO: OM Defaulting" set to Yes
- Add items to the cart
- Choose Checkout button
