(Doc ID 743850.1)
Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle Work in Process - Version 11.5.10.2 to 11.5.10.2 [Release 11.5]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Customer manages OSP process with
- PO Move resources
- discrete job with only one operation with only one PO Move resources
All items are not serial or lot controlled.
If the discrete job has no completion subinventory, when outside processing items are received back from the supplier, the quantities in Queue are moved to the To Move intraoperation step of the only one outside processing operation, without being completed into Inventory.
The customer has to perform completion transaction manually in Work in Process.
Customer would like to understand why the move transaction is validated. Customer think the
system should set the pending move transaction in error because the completion subinventory is missing
and it cause autocompletion validation failure.
