Symptoms

Customer implementing Oracle HR in China and have the China legislation <patch 7204689> installed.

When terminating an employee, the final process date automatically defaults.

Per <Note 398500.1> Final Process Date Getting Defaulted on the HR Termination Form, PERWSTEM this is intended functionality, as it is controlled by the PER_LEG_NO_FPD_DEFAULT lookup.

This lookup has a system access level and therefore cannot add additional legislations to the list. This does cause an extra step for HR to remove or change the date. 



STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. China HRMS Manager seeded responsibility.
  2. People => Enter and Maintain => Query employee
  3. Click on Others button, select End Employment. Enter Leaving Reason and actual termination date.
  4. Last Standard Process Date and Final Process Date will default.
