After Upgrading to EBS 11i RUP6 or EBS R12 with a 10g / 11g RDBMS, "Switch Responsibility" (Top Hat) Takes Much Longer In Forms (Doc ID 745701.1)

This issue may affect any Oracle Form after applying ATG RUP6 or upgrading to EBS R12 and running on RDBMS 10g or 11g.


Upgraded E-Business Suite 11i to ATG RUP6 patch or upgraded to E-Business Suite R12 and running on RDBMS 10g or 11g.  After which find that the application is taking a longer time to display responsibilities list after clicking on "Switch Responsibility" icon (top hat) on form.


Login into application click on any form based responsibility and launch forms.
Click on "Switch Responsibility" icon to change the responsibility.
The application may take up to 30-40 seconds to display list of responsibilities LOV.


Applied ATG Rup 6 or upgraded to R12 and running on 10g or 11g.
