Spanish CBS 19 Direct Debit Magnetic Format - NIF (Taxpayer ID) is Missing (Doc ID 746615.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Payments - Version 12.0.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem can occur on any platform.

In Release 12, find that the Spanish direct debit magnetic format is not showing the NIF (the National Identifier for the company) on each line.  It is mandatory in Spain to have the NIF (taxpayer id) of the legal entity repeated on each line. It is missing in all lines (position 5-13). It shows as 000000000.

The bank will not accept the file without this information.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Fund Capture responsibility.
2. Set up a funds capture payment process profile and payment system using "Spanish CSB 19 Direct Debit Magnetic Format".
3. Run the Create Settlement Batches request.
