Goal
When attempting to query roles from the database for any item_type the following error occurs:
1300 Could not load
1114 Could not load from database
1103 Could not load roles from database
1000 NOTIFICATION_PREFERENCE has invalid value 'DISABLED'
1000 TYPE has invalid value 'DISABLED'
