How To Abort And Purge WFERROR Messages Of Type SERVEREQ (Service Request). (Doc ID 748182.1)

Purpose

Within the environment there are a large number of WFERROR error messages of type SERVEREQ (Service Request). 

These were caused by various failures in the workflow, but a typical error would be similar to the following:

Error in Workflow SERVEREQ/1101510-831899-EVT [CS_WF_SR_CANT_FIND_OWNER]

What is the recommended method for a bulk purge on these items?
