This is a How-To note on implementing Concurrent Manager to use the Inter-Process Communication (IPC) protocol to connect and communicate with an Oracle Database. It makes extensive use of the Oracle Application Management (OAM) Pack for Enterprise Manager. Each reference starts in OAM’s Site Map. It does not cover a complete manual method for making this configuration change. This note was also written from a Unix Operating System point of view. It should also apply to the Windows Operating System as the underlying technology is OS independent, but this configuration has not been tested using Windows.
