Business Number Rules For Capacity Limit And Capacity Usage Do Not Work
(Doc ID 749265.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Transportation Management - Version 5.5.05 to 5.5.05.03 [Release 5.5]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
-- Problem Statement:
On 5.5.05, Find that the Business Number Rule (BN Rule) for Capacity Limits does not adhere to the replacement values of effective date and expiration date but takes the current date instead of the dates given in these fields.
This happens only when testing the BN rule but not when the actual value is being generated
In addition to this,
There are other issues such as,
1.Replacement Value For Equipment_Type Is Misspelled. When using EQUIPMENT_TYPE, the replacement value does not work but works only when EQUIPEMENT_TYPE is used
2.Using Date Replacement Values Does Not Result In Correct Format – YYYYMMDD
3.Using Capacity Limit As Replacement Value For Capacity Usage Does Not Work
Expect that the date values in the effective and expiration dates are used when the test BN rule action is executed
-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set up a BN rule for Capacity Limits with the replacement value of Effective or Expiration date
2. Test the rule with effective and expiration date that is not the same as the current date
3.See that the test values generated are taken from current date
Due to this issue, users cannot test the new rule created to see if it adheres to the new set up
