Repair Order Form: Not Picking Up The Instance Number When Trying To Repair Configurations (Doc ID 750138.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a repair order for a non-serialized component of a configured item, the following error occurs even if this component already has an instance in Install Base:

No IB Ref Num entered for the selected product.
To add this product to Installed Base, click "Add to IB". To create the Repair Order without adding to Installed Base, click "Save As Is".



Steps To Reproduce
1. Log in with 'Depot Repair Super User' responsibility.
2. In the Repair Order form, create a Service Request for a configured item.
3. Create a repair order for a component of the configured item that has an instance in Install Base, but does not have a serial number.
4. Save the repair order.
