PN Variable Rent Agreement Has No "Manual" Calculation Method (Doc ID 752711.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Property Manager - Version 11.5.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
This problem can occur on any platform.

Symptoms

Variable Rent agreements have a field called "Calculation Method" which is now governed by an LOV
based on lookup-type PN_VAR_CALCULATION_METHOD. The new lookup is system controlled and only has four values:

C - Cumulative,
N - Non - Cumulative,
T - Trueup, and
Y - Year to date.
However, there should also be an additional value M for Manual. This is needed because:
First, any upgraded Variable Rent with cumulative_vol.pn_var_rents_all = M
cannot be queried via the form. Second, the program Calculate Variable Rent will not be able to
properly interpret such Variable Rents and presumably the calculations will be incorrect.
