Transaction Register Report (INVTRREG) Is Falling with Signal 6 or Signal 11 (Doc ID 753154.1)

This note includes all versions of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i and Release 12.


Transaction Register report fails with the following java exception error or similar.
It fails every time regardless of input parameters used.

Current NLS_LANG and NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS Environment Variables are :


stat_low = 86
stat_high = 0
emsg:was terminated by signal 6
Enter Password:
SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation

si_code [1]: SEGV_MAPERR [addr: 0x4f4431]

-- Steps
The issue can be replicated per the following steps:
1. Select the Inventory responsibility
2. Invoke the Change Organization window, select the Inventory organization and go to (M) View > Requests
-OR- Go to Reports > All and select the Inventory organization (if not already done)
3. Submit the Transaction Register report
