Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Entering Performance Ratings and encounter an error:

There is a duplicate performance rating record for the specified appraisal, objective and person.

Cause: The combination of appraisal, objective and person that is specified already exists. This can be due to a middle-tier caching issue. Action: You may restart your application.

If the error still persists, please contact your system administrator.

 

 

 
Steps To Reproduce:

Log in Manager Self-Service > Talent Management

  1. Select Go to Task icon next to appraisal
  2. Select Update
  3. Enter Ratings in system
  4. Select Share Main Appraiser
  5. Select Cancel
  6. Returns to screen with Blank objectives
  7. Enter Ratings again
  8. Select Continue
  9. Error received.
