Questions and Answers
After removing the part from the Unit Configuration, is it necessary to return this part to a Subinventory?
If no, how the Shipment Order can "find" this part in WIP and send it to Vendor?
One of the steps prior to the release of the Shipment Order is to transfer the part to the Project (in Manufacturing and Distribution Manager, there is a Project Transfer transaction, where you can transact a part from a subinventory and location to another subinventory and location. In this new location, the procedure is to inform the location, project number and project task). Why is this step necessary? Considering that the answer to the question 1 is yes, then we believe that this transfer is to put the part in the subinventory location that belongs to the Project (Visit) and Project Task (Work order), is that correct?
Is the Purchase Order status related to the Shipment Order? Or does the Shipment Order release and shipment confirm dependent of the PO?
