No Data for Security Enabled FSG Reports for Responsibility with No Security Rules (Doc ID 758890.1)

This problem can occur on any platform.


If report is submitted in Report Manager with 'Flexfield Segment Security', No data appears for User who does not have any Segment security rule assigned. However data appears fine for those who have Security rules assigned.

e.g: Customer submits a report in Report Manager and enables 'Flexfield Segment Security'. Consider the following Users:
User1 : Has a Segment Security rule assigned which has access only to XX.
User2 : Has a Segment Security rule assigned which has access only to YY and ZZ.
User3 : Has no Segment Security rule assigned.

When User1 views the report, only XX appears in the Expansion list.
When User2 views the report, only YY and ZZ appear in the Expansion list.
When User3 views the report, none of the values appear as User does not have any Security Rule assigned to him.
