Symptoms

In Accounting Setup Manager, Sequencing context page shows the  balancing segment values which are not assigned to ledger.

Example:
In one organization there are  3 primary ledgers  and 3 LE defined. To each ledger one LE is assigned.
3 chart of accounts are defined – one of each ledger.

All 3 COA for a balancing segment SHARE THE SAME segment with attached one value set. This value set contains 3 values : 01, 02, 03 – one for each LE
Leger 01 = LE 1 = value of Balancing Segment 01
Leger 02 = LE 2 = value of Balancing Segment 02
Leger 03 = LE 3 = value of Balancing Segment 03

For Ledger 03 there are defined the contexts : GL Period Close – GL Journal Entry and GL Period Close – Subledger Journal Entry. The BSV 03 was assigned as fiscal in nature.

The next step is to define the same contexts for Ledger 01 and Ledger 02.

Note that the BSV was already assigned as fiscal in nature and the available and checked BSV is 03.Assign to contexts in Ledger 02 the  BSV 02 and check it as fiscal and at the same time uncheck the 03 BSV.

Go to the contexts defined in Accounting Setup for Ledger03 and note now there are available BSV 02 and 03 .The BSV 02 is checked as  fiscal and the BSV 03 is unchecked.

The same is happening  for Ledger01.

-- Steps To Reproduce:
Define 3 primary ledger, 3 LE, 3 COA sharing the same Balancing Segment

Define
GL Period Close – GL Journal Entry context
GL Period Close – Subledger Journal Entry context
for each ledger.
Assign different BSV to contexts created for one ledger.

-- Business Impact:
Incorrect numbering of journals. According to legal regulations the journals should be numbered correctly.
