What is the standard process to add Payment related custom entries to oc4j configuration files? How can we ensure that custom entries added to OC4J configuration files (for example orion-web.xml) are preserved after autoconfig run?

Common symptom:

After running Autoconfig, it is not possible to generate Credit Card authorizations with the Payment System (ie. Paymentech).

The logs show the following error:

HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

Server: Oracle-Application-Server-10g/ Oracle-HTTP-Server
