GLPRJE: Recurring Journal Entry gets Error PRPN0012: Error: You Must Specify a Budget (Doc ID 762788.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to generate recurring journals, errors are received in the log file for GLPRJE module: Recurring Journal Entry :

PRPN0004: Could not find control account specified in formula rules
PRPN0005: Net value for calculation was taken to be zero
SHRD0010: Account may be identified by CODE_COMBINATION_ID: XXXXXX      0000000XXX|XXXXXX|0000|000000|000000|000000|000000
SHRD0011: and SET_OF_BOOKS_ID: X
SHRD0012: and ACTUAL_FLAG: A
...
PRPN0012: Error: You must specify a budget when generating this formula, because this formula uses Budget Balances to calculate Journal Amounts.


This was successful generating the same recurring entries in previous periods.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • General Ledger Super User responsibility 
  • Journals > Define/Recurring.
  • Query on the batch name. Then click Generate button and generate
