Goal

How does one encrypt incoming credit card data for Order Management Sales Orders?

Is there a utility (Encryption logic outside of Oracle) you can use in encrypting card data being send from any of our website to Oracle? Essentially you want to encrypt the data from the source (Web layer), transmit the data which Oracle can understand and ultimately process the transaction.

Note: When using credit card encryption, if the fields passed for P_HEADER_REC fields CREDIT_CARD_NUMBER, CREDIT_CARD_EXPIRATION_DATE, CREDIT_CARD_HOLDER_NAME and CREDIT_CARD_CODE are derived from IBY_CREDITCARD, the following error is observed in the IBY FND debug log during execution of OE_ORDER_PUB.PROCESS_ORDER API:
