Symptoms

Within the transactions workbench, when crediting a transaction, the form raises an error similar to the following:

FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-99999.

The error number following ORA- changes depending upon the issue encountered, following are some examples:

FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01403.
FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01400.
FRM-40735: ON-UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01426.
