R12: Error16:PPOS0249: The following intracompany journals require an override clearing company to be defined for the journal (Doc ID 784722.1)

Symptoms

Two Balancing Segment Values (BSV) are been assigned to the same Legal Entity and the same Ledger.
The Intracompany Balancing Rules are defined for both the Legal Entity and No Legal Entity.
The Clearing BSV has the default set to: Manually Entered Clearing Balancing Segment Value.

When you create an intracompany journal entry with 2 lines, one debiting one BSV and the other crediting the other, the journal posting ends with Error16 - Unable to balance intercompany accounts error.

Posting log file shows the following error:
