Sample Setup of a Promotional Modifier's Get Item Line when the Price List Line is in a Different Unit of Measure ( UOM ) (Doc ID 785410.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Pricing - Version 11.5.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When defining the "get" item line of a promotional modifier, you see that:

1. The LOV of the Get Price field allows you to select the price for the UOM that does not match the UOM selected for the get item.

2. When the get item is added to the sales order per the promotional modifier, the price is not converted for the UOM of the order line, even though the primary UOM flag is checked in the price list.

This is the current functionality. An ER#3938132 has been logged to address the conversion of the get price according to the selected UOM, however this is currently not part of the functionality.

In this note, we will provide a sample setup to achieve a result similar to if a conversion did occur for the get price.
