Last updated on APRIL 30, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Web Applications Desktop Integrator - Version 12.0.6 to 12.1.3 [Release 12 to 12.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Web ADI is not working on Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) environment. When performing any task in Web ADI, we receive the error, "Exception Name: oracle.apps.bne.exception.BneFatalException - Error loading class: Log File Bookmark: 415225".  This happens all the time when trying to download a Web ADI journal template.

The issue is occurring in UAT.
After cloning UAT environment to TEST and disabled SSL on TEST - the issue does NOT occur in TEST.

 <Note 465991.1> did not resolved the issue.

Steps To Reproduce:
1. Journals-->Launch Journal Wizard.
2. Select any Layout and click "Create Document".
3. Open File.
4. Click "Enable Macros" when prompted in Excel.
5. The spreadsheet is not generated and instead the window and "Oracle Web ADI: Fatal Error" is returned.
