R12: Journal Lines Are Created For Unapplied Amount 0.00 - Why? (Doc ID 793298.1)

The setup in SLA for 'Receipt Unapplied Line type' is 'Merge All.'

When entering a Receipt and applying it to a transaction, a journal line with an amount equal to zero (0.00) is generated in GL for the Unapplied Account.

Example :

--> View Accounting Screen
confirmed cash acctd_dt 1.00
Receivable accounted_cr 1.00

--> Journal entry in General Ledger : (screenshots)
Credit (EUR) 1.00
Debit (EUR) 1.00
Debit (EUR) 0.00

--> datafile on the receipt displays:
