Oracle Leasing and Finance Management and the Oracle eBusiness Suite are designed to setup accounting configurations that meet complex organizational requirements and to avoid rigid accounting structures that are inflexible and costly to modify as circumstances change over time.
Subledger Accounting Architecture is one of Oracle Financials key initiatives that is made available in Release 12.1 of Oracle eBusiness Suite. It constitutes an intermediate step between the operational subledger products and General Ledger and aims to provide a single source of truth for all accounting, reporting and analytical applications. Oracle Leasing and Finance Management has enhanced Accounting in Release 12.1 to uptake the Subledger Accounting Architecture to help you control operations and statutory risks.
The purpose of this document is to address the process for the uptake of Subledger Accounting Architecture in Oracle Leasing and Finance Management 12.1. It provides details on how to configure the new functionality, understand any dependencies or interactions and learn how to use the functionality to meet your business requirements.
