ROI Receiving Transactions Fail With RCV_CARRIER_DISABLED Error (Doc ID 795382.1)

EXECUTABLE:RCVTPO - Receiving Transaction Manager

Symptoms

Receipt transactions through Receiving Open Interface error out for Internal Orders/Inter-orgs with a Freight Carrier that has been made inactive for the receiving organization at or before the time of receiving.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Create an Internal Order with Freight Carrier Code 'XYZ' from org1 to org2.
  2. Open Freight Carriers form and query for XYZ.
  3. Go to Tools -> Distribution Accounts and inactivate the freight carrier for the receiving org2.
  4. Receive the Internal Order through ROI

INV Debug log shows errors like:

Freight Carrier was inactivated after the internal order was created (before it was received).
