Modifier uses "Item Type Code" qualifier not working in Catalog but works in Cart (Doc ID 796049.1)

Goal

A custom sourced qualifier attribute (Item Type Code) works fine in OM, but not iStore.
Modifier works fine in shopping cart, but same was not applying in Catalog (prior to cart).

Current Mapping as follows:

Qualifier Context = Order
Attribute Code = ITEM_TYPE_CODE
Attribute Name = Line Item Type Code
Mapping Level = LINE
Attribute Mapping:
iStore (ASO) --> ASO_PRICING_INT.G_LINE_REC.item_type_code
   OM (ONT) --> OE_ORDER_PUB.G_LINE.item_type_code


Business need is to show the discount in catalog and shopping cart, not just in cart. How is it possible?
