Service Contracts Authoring and Copy Forms Crash Intermittently with FRM-40735 Error (Doc ID 796353.1)

Symptoms

Intermittently the Service Contract Authoring form crashes with this sequence of error messages:

FRM-40735 : On-ERROR trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-01001
APP-FND-01564: ORACLE error 3114 in audfrm
Cause: audfrm failed due to ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE.
The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: &SQLSTMT and was excuted fromthe
file &ERRFILE.
Your logon session has become invalid. Exiting Oracle Applications.

The database Alert log shows:

Errors in file <file path>/file_ora_12169.trc:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [lxhh2ci()] [SIGSEGV] [Address not mapped to
object]
[0x30000005C] [] []

The database trace file shows:

ksedmp: internal or fatal error
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [lxhh2ci()] [SIGBUS] [Invalid
address alignment] [0x53545F44455441A5] [] []
Current SQL statement for this session:
SELECT ID1 , NAME LOCATION , DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION , PARTY_ID FROM

Similar errors may be found on the Copy Contracts form the following error is received a number of times, after which the forms session disconnects:
