Applies to:
Oracle Transportation Management - Version 5.5.04.05 to 5.5.04.06 [Release 5.5]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
-- Problem Statement:
On 5.5.04.05, When adding an extra Order Release to a Shipment that has already been planned with two other order movements, using an ActualShipmentXML that uses ShipmentModViaOrderSU XML element, the Order Release is added to the Shipment, but an order movement is not created
The shipment can now no longer be unassigned and is in a state of flux.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that an order movement is created when the existing shipment is modified by adding an extra Order Release
-- Steps To Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create two orders and order movements for them. Bulk plan them into a shipment
2. Create another order release for the same lane as on the first two orders
3. Send in an Actual Shipment XML with the third order using the XML element ShipmentModViaOrderSU with D transaction code for the first two orders and IU for the third order
4. See that the third order is added to the shipment but an order movement is not created even though the planning parameter, AUTO CREATE ORDER MOVEMENTS is set to true. Also the link between the Order Movement and Shipment is lost
