Symptoms
When trying to change the latest start date to 01-JUN-2006 (which was previously changed by mistake to 24-JUL-2004), upon save the following error is received:
APP-PAY-06839: Assignment changes exist between the old and the new dates
Additional Information
No changes were made between 24-JUL-2004 and 01-JUN-2006
Steps to Reproduce
1. People -> enter and maintain
2. Datetracked to 30-MAY-2006
person record valid from 24-JUL-2004 till 06-JUN-2006
3. User changed latest start date to 01-JUN-2006
4. Select option 'correction'
note: the original hire date will be updated to the same date as the started date
5. Save
displays error message
